Montgomery College Part-Time Faculty:
Our Contract is Ratified!
We are pleased to announce the first-ever collective bargaining agreement between Montgomery College and its part-time faculty, represented by SEIU Local 500. The agreement goes into affect immediately, and will run through June 30, 2011.
Highlights include:
- An immediate lump-sum bonus;
- An across-the-board 2.37 percent increase to all ESH rates;
- Improved job security;
- Higher ESH limits;
- New commitments from the College to work with us to address pay disparity and health care access; and
- Improved paid time-off.
